Hello, my name is James and I founded French Broad River Painting LLC right here in Asheville, NC and I am fully insured and accredited.

My goal is to provide you with the best service and quality the industry has to offer, specializing in residential Interior & exterior painting and pressure washing. I come from a long line of painters and carpenters. My grandfather was a carpenter and my father and uncle both owned painting business in western New England.

I have over 11 years experience painting, pressure washing and carpentry. I was taught not only the craft by my family, but most importantly integrity and ethics. This is where most businesses lose touch today. Very few businesses care anymore about the work they do or who they do it for, and that’s when I come in.

I am here to provide top notch service and dependability. To provide a beautiful paint job that not only you can be proud of but myself as well. And last but not least, treat your home as if it were my own.

What You Can Expect

Once an estimate has been done and a start date is agreed upon, I will show up promptly and ready to address any other questions or concerns you may have before the work is started. For interior work, surfaces and fixtures will be covered and furniture moved accordingly. Exterior paint jobs receive a free pressure washing that includes the use of a non toxic biodegradable cleaner. Bushes, shrubs and other exterior portions of the home will be covered as well.

A thorough surface preparation will be done on both interior and exterior to ensure that the paint and or sealant adheres properly providing a long lasting and vibrant look. All cracks, chips, holes, peeling paint or bare material will be treated before application. Once the job is complete I will uncover and rearrange everything to its pre-existing configuration. All this is completed by a one on one walk through of the job to assure customer satisfaction and a 2 week follow up call.

Color & Finish Consultation

I will personally help with the process of choosing custom colors and color matching/pairing if needed. I will also help determine what finish is right for what you are looking to achieve. Whether it is a gloss, satin or matte finish, I will work for you in order to attain the look you are going for.

Along the way I hope to educate you on what each finish is generally used for and why. This way you will feel at ease with the decision you make and feel confident in your choice. I am here to make the process an enjoyable and exciting one where you will be confident in not only my services but the choices you have made.
